The Skin of Music
La piel de la música

It is a very thin skin that wraps the difference between sound and music, what differentiates external noise from interpretation. It is this skin that separates the objective from the subjective, the natural from the artificial, the real from its representation.

Una piel muy sutil viste la diferencia entre el sonido y la música. Entre el ruido externo y la interpretación. Es la piel que separa lo objetivo de lo subjetivo, lo natural de lo artificial, lo real de su representación.

"El silencio se entiende como ausencia de sonido, y este último como consecuencia de vibraciones. Exceptuando las metáforas de calma y tranquilidad, de estado de concentración, de abstracción, de pureza, y de otras manifestaciones muy humanas, el silencio no existe, porque todo en el universo vibra. Vibra la materia y vibra la energía. Y por todas partes aún resuenan los ecos de la explosión que originó todo esto."
